While some office holders and candidates call anti-Agenda 21 folks conspiracy freaks, Alabama has taken steps to end this United Nations ICLEI program. There are Democrats organized against Agenda 21 if this website is to be given credence (click here) and (here) and other political groups have entered the fray.
